Comments: Here's to the second Wainwright on the trip (one that I have climbed before many years ago). The views are amazing for the little effort needed.
Elterwater backed by Wetherlam and the Coniston Fells from the top of Loughrigg Fell.
The beautiful Vale of Grasmere from Loughrigg Fell. The path at the bottom of the photo is the one I took to head up here.
Bowfell and the Langdale Pikes. The fell peaking over the depression near Bowfell is Scafell.
Windermere over the rock outcrop on the summit of Loughrigg Fell. The lake on the right is Esthwaite Water.
A close up of Windermere with a few boats sailing today.
And finally a close up of Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark (which is where I was two days ago).
