Comments: After summiting Pavey Ark a couple of days ago we both wanted to try something a bit higher so we opted for Bowfell. At almost 3000ft it was quite a nice challenge.
High up on The Band which is the main route to Bowfell. The view is looking down Great Langdale with the slopes of the Langdale Pikes on the left and Lingmoor Fell to the right.
Lingmoor Fell on the left and the pointed peak of Pike O'Blisco on the right.
Pike O'Blisco and Cold Pike from the last push up to Three Tarns.
The Langdale Pikes and Great Langdale from Three Tarns.
The Great Slab - with a couple of people having lunch to give it some scale.
The view south east to Windermere, Pike O'Blisco and the Coniston Fells.
