Durdle Door Holiday Park - Newlands Farm - Scratchy Bottom - Durdle Door - South West Coast Path - Hambury Tout (138m/553ft) - Lulworth Cove - West Lulworth - Durdle Door Holiday Park

After walking for about a mile or so we managed to get round to the coastline and this was our first view of Durdle Door.

But before we head that way I must nip up Swyre Head to look along the coast. This is not the very top of the hill but closeby - still a spectacular view east and west. This photo shows the view west to Weymouth and Portland.

A lovely sea stack and arch (Bat's Hole)

And east to Durdle Door and Hambury Tout. Time to head down.

Durdle Door.

One of the most spectacular coastal features in the country.

Thats Portland over there to the left and Weymouth to the right.

And these are the coves next to Durdle Door.

You cant get much better than this by the coast!

Now heading up Habury Tout and this is the view west.

The view east from the top of Hambury Tout.

Now heading down the constructed path to Lulworth Cove.

Amazing rock features along this part of the coast.

Awesome folds in the rocks.

And lastly a beautiful panorama of Lulworth Cove.
