A lovely little Avocet to the bottom left and in the centre a Sandwich Tern.

Oystercatcher with a Redshank behind.

The beautiful and quite rare Spotted Redshank.

Two Greenshanks.

Another Greenshank on the mudflats.

Today was the day for Red Squirrels. We saw so many and some were almost tame they came so close!

Earlier on I was happy enough to see the Sandwich Terns and Spotted Redshank, but this bird stole the show. Its a Nightjar and are very hard to see but this one was sitting about 6 feet from the hide enjoying a little nap. Normally they do not sleep out in direct view!
