I've been wanting to get up on Mellbreak again for some time as its northern ascent over Raven Crag is very enjoyable and has some amazing dramatic views. Today was set to be dry but cloudy and with the recent dry weather I thought Mosedale might be passable with minimal soaking.

The route turned out to be absolutely fantastic although a little harder than normal with a full ascent then descent followed by ascent again but Mosedale was nice to explore a little but was still very wet underfoot in places!
