My sister and brother in law have wanted to climb the Langdale Pikes for many years and today was set to be the day to do them. Originally the weather was not meant to be too bad but the wind really picked up and it rained for a good portion of the walk. Still a very enjoyable day!

Jack's Rake heading diagonally up the cliff. Originally that was going to be the chosen route of ascent but not in this weather!

Instead we headed round to North Rake.

Harrison Stickle free of cloud at the moment. It was a few minutes after this that the weather changed and the cloud lowered.
