Dodd is a subsidiary peak of Red Pike located just 500 metres north east of the main summit. The view is slightly restricted due to its rather flat top but Chapel Crags are seen at its best angle from here.
The summit has a large cairn and is easily reached from The Saddle with a distinctive path leading to the top.
