Little Cockup is a small grassy dome on Great Cockup's northern slopes. At 395m above sea level it is far from high to Lakeland standards but the view north is excellent. Overwater and Chapelhouse Reservoir can clearly be seen from the summit, as well as Binsey and Longlands Fell. For a summit rarely visited, the cairn is quite substantial considering the lack of lose exposed rock in the area. |
