Swarth Fell (Ullswater)

Birkett - The Far Eastern Fells

Height: 545m (1788ft)
Prominence: 6m (20ft)
Times Summited: 01

Swarth Fell is a rounded peak between Loadpot Hill and Bonscale Pike. A well defined path takes you from Loadpot Hill over Swarth Fell to the north. On the eastern slopes of the fell is the location of a small stone circle. When trying to locate the stone circle my GPS displayed a different location to the actual site. I will have to go back and check this at some point but I believe the stone circle is a hundred metres or so north of where it is recorded on the map.
