Wansfell Pike is a subsidiary peak of Wansfell close to the popular town of Ambleside. The main route of ascent is from Ambleside just off the Stock Ghyll Road and takes you straight to the summit. The ridge walk north east is an easy walk offering amazing views as you approach Wansfell.
Ascent from Troutbeck is via Nanny Lane and about two thirds along there is a turning left which takes you up to Wansfell Pike.
