Elevation: 144m (470ft) Depth: 197ft
Location: North Eastern Lakes
Ullswater is the second largest lake and one of the most popular. The southern end of the lake is enclosed by a dense mass of high fells. Views down to the lake can be seen from many of the nearby fell tops. Due to the size and shape of the lake, it is difficult to see it in whole.
