St Edmunds Way is a long distance path connecting Manningtree to Brandon following parts of the Stour Valley Path along the way. Areas of interest passed along the way include Deadham Vale AONB, Long Melford, Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds, The Lark Valley and The Brecks. The start and finish have excellent railway links with large settlements along the way for overnight stops.
